Description
Oud du Jour by Amouroud is an elegant, fruity and resinous oud where deep woods are softened by raspberry, rose and a dark yet luminous amber.
To picture its scent, imagine polished oud wood surrounded by dark raspberries and rose petals, with saffron and pink pepper adding warmth and brightness. Olibanum brings a gently smoky, resinous quality, while plum adds a deep, velvety sweetness.
In the base, Indonesian oud blends with black amber, patchouli and guaiac wood, creating a warm, dry and sophisticated foundation. Despite its richness, the oud never feels harsh or overly animalic; it comes across as smooth, rounded and beautifully integrated.
It smells of smooth oud, dark raspberry, rose, incense and amber: deep and elegant, yet lifted by a fruity brightness that makes it far more refined and wearable than its name might suggest.
