Bal d'Afrique by Byredo is a bright, citrusy and woody fragrance, softened by delicate florals and a clean, sunlit vetiver.
To picture its scent, imagine fresh bergamot and blackcurrant over a green, softly floral background. African marigold and buchu add a distinctive aromatic character, while violet, cyclamen and jasmine soften the heart without making it feel overly floral.
Vetiver and cedar give the composition a drier finish, accompanied by musks and a touch of tonka bean that adds warmth. It smells of bright citrus, soft flowers, vetiver and clean wood: joyful, elegant and sunlit, with a dry, polished feel.
